(G.P.) "I have been teaching calculus-based physics for many years, and I have probably been responsible for several sales of your product, and most likely sales of TI-89 calculators as well! The student may have a foundation of the rules of calculus and the mechanics of physics, but they rarely have a command of the applications of calculus to physics problems. Furthermore, the problems in the book can be confusing, and they don't see the exact steps needed to solve them. But your programs are the solution - I just project my TI-89 screen, have them give me a problem (for instantaneous velocity, as an example), and let the calculator go through the steps for them. I then alter the problem slightly, and let it calculate the problem using different steps. After a while, the students can 'guess' the proper steps necessary, and begin to think like the program. I have seen many eyes opened through this process - thank you for your excellent products!
